The G20 various countries will do more to promote global economic growth

G20 finance leaders last Sunday reiterated theirdetermination to use all policy tools - monetary,fiscal and structural - individually and collectively, toachieve the goals of strong, sustainable, balancedand inclusive growth.

To foster confidence, monetary policies willcontinue to support economic activity and ensureprice stability, noted a communique issued after theG20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting in Chengdu.

The G20 economies committed to enhance communication and cooperation, and takeeffective steps to address the challenges of structural problems.

"We will carefully calibrate and clearly communicate our macroeconomic and structural policyactions to reduce uncertainty, minimize negative spillovers and promote transparency," thecommunique said.

In addition, the outcome of the referendum on UK membership of the EU adds touncertainty in the global economy, it said.

According to the communique, G20 members reaffirm commitment to promote investmentwith focus on infrastructure in terms of both quantity and quality.
