Aerial platform truck (also called truck mounted aerial work platform, cherry picker bucket truck, hydraulic aerial platform vehicle, overhead working truck, high-altitude operation truck, articulated basket platform, manlift etc.) generally used for temporary, flexible access purposes such as maintenance and construction work or by firefighters for emergency access, which distinguishes them from permanent access equipment such as elevators, ideal for maintenance of traffic lights, street lights, landscaping trees, cleaning/setting signboard and other high aerial works.

On May 15th, aerial working platform truck 20 meters aerial platform trucks manufactured by Chengli Special Automobile Co., Ltd. finished production and were ready for delivery.

The 20m FAW aerial working platform truck was producing with FAW CA1120P62K1L2E4Z chassis, powered by FAW 189HP (139KW) diesel engine, engine model BF6M2012-18E4. The FAW truck equipped with air conditioner, J6 row of half cab and 9.00R20 tyres.

Superstructure specification:

1. Working cage: 200kg capacity, anti-slip floor;

2. Maximum working height: has options of 8m-10m, 12m, 14m, 16m, 18m, 20m- 22m, 24m - 25m etc; 

3. Slewing: 360 continuous rotation with base turntable;

4. Control: both on the ground and in the cage;

5. Safety devices:
1). Emergency stop switches at base and operator’s cage; 

2).Emergency electrical / manual / manual pump is equipped to operate the equipment in case of engine failure; 

6. Optional:
1). Insulated working cage, made of reinforced fiberglass; 

2). Remote control device.
